$200M+ in scaled revenue sounds like a number. Behind it are years of decisions, trade-offs, late-night incidents, and a lot of collaboration. This page is about the person behind that number.
Ranjan Dasgupta didn't start out in ad tech. I came through engineering and product, and found that the hardest and most impactful problems were in monetization: how do you build systems that are fair, transparent, and scalable? How do you help publishers earn without burning user trust? How do you make programmatic work for everyone in the chain?
What gets me up in the morning
Knowing that the systems I help build directly affect whether a publisher can fund quality content, whether an advertiser gets performance, and whether the ecosystem stays sustainable. I care about exchange architecture, yield optimization, and supply path optimization because they're the levers that determine who wins and who loses in programmatic.
Beyond the day job
